This watch offered by the house of Graff is estimated at $55 million (~ 40 million euros)!  The "Hallucination", this model produced in a single copy, is composed of 110 carats of extremely rare colored diamonds which explains its price. It made its first appearance at Baselworlds (Swiss watch and jewelry show) in 2014. The price of this watch is therefore explained much more by the stones it is set with than by the watch itself. If we step outside the jewelry world, the most expensive watch in the world is a Patek Philippe watch.  The Grandmaster Chime 6300A, "The Only One" men's watch from Patek Philippe is a unique model that was designed specifically for the Only Watch charity auction. The aim of this auction is to raise funds for research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy. After more than 2 hours of bidding, the "Only One", flew to an anonymous buyer for the sum of 31 million dollars (28.2 million euros), thus becoming the most expensive watch in the world. The "Only One" combines 20 watch complications including a perpetual calendar, 5 audible alarms, a moon phase indicator and a 2 time zone display. It is the most complicated watch created by Patek Philippe. The watch is also reversible and can be worn on both sides! 100,000 hours of labor and 8 years of research were required to create this concentrate of technology and technique. The Only One, the most expensive watch in the world, is a mechanical watch with manual winding, 47.7mm in diameter and 16.07mm thick.
