At 31, Alexandre Monteiro, known as Hopare, is already a significant figure in French Street art and one of the most prolific contemporary artists of our time. Initially a graffiti artist, Alex today has no limits as to the medium to use, nor even the technique practiced, as evidenced by his sculptures, his giant frescoes and his oil paintings. Each project is a way of developing your own aesthetic vocabulary, made of lines, intertwining of colors, perspectives, sketches or even abstract geometries and curves. Thus, the artist endeavored to create bridges between eras, people and cultures. The art he defends is that of evolution, change, and the eternal quest for research.
At Charlie Paris, we admire his work and the style that emerges from each of his works. We are therefore very happy to have had the opportunity to collaborate with him on a watch thanks to the Love & Collect art gallery. Indeed, we have decided to produce ultra-limited series of watches thought and designed by contemporary artists with this Parisian gallery.

2 - Hopare x Charlie Paris x Love&Collect, when street art comes to the wrist.
This automatic watch is a limited edition of 100 pieces. Equipped with hour, minute and second functions, the watch with its rose gold case represents the face of a young woman, named Yiruma. The design extends onto the brown leather strap. The case and hands reflect the codes of our signature Initial collection. The watch is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and the box signed by the artist shows the original painting which inspired him for the dial of the watch. This watch was designed as a true original work of art. An artists' edition, created from unique drawings produced for the occasion and then interpreted by us.
