When time takes its inspiration from the freshness of fruit

In watchmaking, watches are often associated with pure metal, complex mechanisms, and rigorous design. However, watch design is above all a matter of sensations, colors, and textures.

Through our latest Still Life photographic series, we wanted to take on a creative challenge: to make the elegance of our watches converse with the raw deliciousness of fruits.

Why does this unexpected pairing of fruits and timepieces work so well? A look at a meeting where time is savored with the eyes through four of our iconic collections.

1. The interplay of textures: Polished metal against fruit skin

Watch photography constantly seeks to reveal the work of materials. Associating a watch with a fruit creates a striking interplay of tactile contrasts:

• The steel of the Alliance Saphir watch against the velvety peach: The brilliance of the steel and the revealing transparency of its smoked white sapphire glass dial respond to the matte softness of the fruit.
  
• The Milanese mesh of the Horizon Chronographe against the grain of the melon: The geometric weave of the steel bracelet echoes the natural cells and raw relief of the rind.
• The rose gold PVD of the Monceau and the Sully alongside the tangy pulp: The warm hues of the rose gold case embrace the deep juices of the cherry or the sunny tones of the apricot.

Rather than using synthetic studio backgrounds, incorporating fresh fruits allows us to play with lively colorimetry that no artificial pigment can match.

The Alliance Saphir: Steel and mechanics revealed by the peach

Against a peach-flesh background, the Alliance Saphir watch and its case with balanced proportions of 39.5 mm expose the complexity of its mechanics. Its exceptional smoked white sapphire glass dial reveals the beat of its Soprod P024 automatic movement. The natural warmth of the fruit immediately brings out the brilliance of the polished steel and the crystalline transparency of the glass.

The Monceau rose gold: Gourmet intensity

The depth of burgundy and cherry red acts as a revealer for the rectangular case with assertive lines of our Monceau. Dressed in a rose gold PVD treatment, protected by a sapphire glass, and animated by a high-precision quartz movement, it is adorned with an interchangeable strap in Milanese mesh. Its uncluttered dial captures the light with jewelry grace.

The Horizon Chronograph: The freshness of sunny days

Placing the Horizon Chronographe with its assertive 40 mm case, its immaculate white dial, its blued hands, its chronograph function with date display, and its woven strap on a freshly cut melon is to associate the precise measurement of short times with the lightness of sunny days.

The Sully Moon Phase: The poetry of summer nights

Meanwhile, the Sully Moon Phase and its delicate 30 mm case dressed in rose gold PVD nestle in the heart of sun-drenched apricots. Protected under its sapphire crystal, the dial illustrating the ballet of lunar cycles poetically recalls the rhythm of the seasons and the invitation to Slow Life: taking the time to admire the details.
