Since 1966, Soprod SA has been developing and offering mechanical movements and watch complications. This renowned Swiss manufacturer belongs to the Festina industrial group. It's worth noting that Soprod also has a presence in France, with its factory in Maîche where the company develops bridges and mainplates, essential components in watch movement production. Thanks to its factories in Switzerland and France, Soprod, like our workshop in Paris, maintains complete control over its production.
The story of the C125 :
It is with the desire to compete with the SW300 Soprod developed the M100, based on the Sellita and ETA 2892 movements. Indeed, their proportions are similar, allowing manufacturers to choose this movement over Sellita and ETA in their watches.
The C125 movement is intended to be higher-end and thinner than the Soprod P024 or the ETA 2824, with approximately 1 mm less.
